Guitar and Bass Lab

(Recommended Ages: 8 and up)

Students benefit from Chris Milillo's thorough, practical approach to the study of the guitar and/or bass guitar that stresses learning to play their favorite songs. This has proven to be an extremely effective method for gaining an understanding of music, and the application of music theory and technique to their instrument. Most of all, it's fun!

Students will gain a solid foundation of chords and scales, while learning how to apply them to any musical style. In addition, they will learn to read basic chord charts and guitar tab, so they can teach themselves songs using the vast resources available both online and in print. Whether your goal is to strum along with your favorite songs, write your own music, to shred like a rock star, or all of the above, you've come to the right place!
